I used a full cup of whole wheat flour instead of 1/2 cup whole wheat and 1/2 all purpose flour.

Flank steak with garlicky yam chips and fresh salsa
Yam chips recipe:
- 1-2 yams
- 1-2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- salt and pepper
- minced garlic
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees, then slice the yams as thin as you can get them, I use the slicing blade thing that came with my food processor. Spread the yams out on baking sheets, make sure that they are not over crowded or they won’t cook right. I needed two baking sheets and that was for one large yam. Season the slices with salt and pepper and coat them with a little bit of olive oil so that that they won’t stick. Toss them around so that each yam will be seasoned and coated with the oil. Then you can put them in the over, but watch them very carefully! They’ll take less than 10 minutes to start browning, and can burn super quick if you don’t pay attention!
Once out of the oven and cooled slightly, toss the yams with the minced garlic (you can even add some Parmesan cheese, yummmmm) and check for seasonings. Then you’re ready to eat!
